Scientific Merit Peer Review

Studies requesting confidential data are required to provide evidence of peer review for scientific merit. Studies funded by the NIH, ACS, DOD, California BCRP, or other similar programs are considered to have undergone sufficient peer review. Unfunded studies or those that have not undergone sufficient peer review will need to provide evidence of scientific merit from an established Scientific Review Committee.  In this circumstance, discuss options with the Data Release Coordinator by calling (510) 608-5022 or emailing data.release@cpic.org.
