The Pioneering Prevention Campaign

  • Nearly 1,655,540 new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States in 2014.
  • We all now face a one-in-two lifetime risk of developing cancer.
This is unacceptable.  Since 1974, the Cancer Prevention Institute of California (CPIC) has been at the forefront of understanding cancer risk and identifying ways to intervene. While other organizations focus on finding a cure, CPIC studies the whole population to discover how and why cancer occurs.

Now is a critical time to support our four decades of work. We are experiencing a decrease in revenues due to government cutbacks and your participation is more important than ever!

Be a part of CPIC’s groundbreaking work by helping us continue it. Our findings are relevant to all and thus extend as far as the nation’s capitol, influencing public policies that empower you to reduce your cancer risk.

We are commemorating our 40th anniversary with a goal of raising $100,000 for our cancer prevention research and other programs. Won’t you partner with us in empowering cancer prevention by joining our campaign today? Please click and give here.

Consider personalizing your support by making your donation in memory of a loved one or as an honorary gift.

Never getting cancer is better than having to endure treatment. Thank you for joining our efforts!
