Collaboration Opportunities

V.  Health Education

CPIC has been involved in the following:

1. Development of educational materials for underserved populations using culturally sensitive and appropriate language and symbols

2. Delivery of message in multiple mediums (written, web-based, call-in center)

3. Technical assistance to help organizations address health literacy barriers

4. Training and program implementation for professional and lay health workers

5. Development and delivery of group-based programs, including programs for under-served populations

6. Development and delivery of programs for patients, their families, physicians and other clinicians

7. Development and conduct of workshops/conferences on specific topic areas  (includes inviting and securing top speakers in the area)

8. Translation of project materials

9. Development and maintenance of cancer websites

10. Early detection program design and implementation
