The Cancer Prevention Institute of California, in collaboration with the Stanford Cancer Center is hosting its 7th Annual African American Breast Cancer Conference, a program for and about the community that is intended to help raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection in African American communities in Northern California and surrounding areas, with a special focus on mind, body, and spiritual healing.  EORO addresses the unique concerns and needs of African American women of all ages related to breast cancer, in addition to providing culturally-appropriate information and resources to encourage women to make informed decisions about their health and empower them to become advocates for themselves, their loved ones, and others in their communities.  The dissemination and sharing of this potentially life-saving information by community members supports our program theme of "Each One, Reach One…".
